Tiny plant (Creeping Charlie) growing around the deck. A tripod is almost essential for macro/close up.

It is sad that such a tiny pretty plant is considered an invasive weed. But
Glechoma hederacea is a
Lamiaceae or
Mint Family plant from Europe that was introduced to the USA. Note the square stems. Great shot.
Love the water drop, Joe! (Nice paint job)
Gorgeous shot, Joe. It isn't easy to get a really good shot of tiny little plants.

I have always enjoyed this plant for its color, fragrance, diminutive height and hardiness. For years my wife tried to convince me it was an undesirable weed it and would detract from the value of our home.
This year I have decided to let our back yard revert to a prairie mowing just enough path ways for access. All of a sudden my wife likes it...I couldn't be more pleased.
Thank you all for looking and for the positive feed back.
