If anyone is considering renting photo equipment, I highly recommend LensRentals.com. I recently rented a Nikon D850 with a Nikkor 24-70 zoom lens from them for a 5-day rental. Because I told them that there might be a risk that nobody would be there to sign for the package on the day the rental period started, they voluntarily shipped it about 4 or 5 days early, no extra charge! The gear was in great shape, well packed in a sturdy padded case, everything you might need included (manual, charger, etc.) and the return logistics couldn't have been easier -- even the packaging tape was provided! Great communication all the way through. Not only were their prices excellent, they just emailed me a discount coupon for 10% off of my next rental!
One happy customer! This was for an annual event, and I'll definitely be using them for from now on, plus any other photographic rentals I need.
Oh, and they give you a discounted price if you decide to buy the equipment.

Have used Lensrentals.com for several years now, numerous and varied rentals of cameras and lenses. In each and every case they have been the epitome of excellent service. Equipment comes packaged in a usable camera bag. The rented items have been cleaned and ready for use. Return is easy; slap on the preprinted return label, repack and drop off at FedEx. Great organization of knowledgeable photography experts. Read their blog.

I recently used their services when I needed to have in my hands a Nikon Df I was considering buying. Their service, information, ease of ordering, tracking, returning, equipment conditions, etc., Was first rated. Everything was very smooth with the camera rental.
It made my decision to buy a Df extremely easy. I didn't buy the camera from them due to the all black model I received. I was already set on the silver model.

I rented from them for the first time about 3 years ago. I rented an Olympus lens and an EVF. When I returned the lens and viewfinder they got in touch with me to tell me that the viewfinder NEVER arrived. I was absolutely sure that I had shipped the viewfinder with the lens.
I was not comfortable but they put me at ease. They told me they will write off the viewfinder and that was the end of the story.
I have not rented again but I intend to use them once more. I still feel sorry I had to go through it and I never could understand what happened to the viewfinder.

I recently rented a sony e mount 100mm-400mm lens from Lens Rentals and process was so straightforward and easy. The lens i received was in great shape. I was able to get some great shots of my daughter's university graduation. Nailed pic’s of her receiving her diploma and walking in the processional. Great memories, from a great lens supplied by great company, Lens Rentals. Thank you Lens Rentals!

Have used 'em once, and because of an irregular personal schedule and the signature requirement I redirected the package to a nearby FedEx Office (open 24/7.) I think it may have added an extra day to my pickup because the pickup store didn't seem to get the notice on their local computer that the box arrived as soon as I did, but that didn't adversely affect my usage. And I too was amazed and impressed by the comprehensive packaging and the ease and simplicity of returning the equipment when I was done.
I decided not to buy the Lumix G85 after using it for a week. It was a wonderful camera to use, but it just wasn't enough better than what I had to be worth the expense. Still, I fully expect I'll try the G95 at some point, just to see if it's worth it, and Lensrentals is where I'll get it.
