Microsoft Outlook 2016

Is any body knowledgeable about MS Outlook 2016? I need to change the Email password and the help files keep telling me to go to "tools" but I can not find tools anyplace. Anybody know how to get to the "tools" menu?

Thanks up front,
Huey

Go to the "HELP" section in the top banner and there are several tools noted there.

Thanks but the 2016 screen is totally different. Saw that but I shouldn't have to buy a program to run the MS program I have installed.

Hi. Im still using Outlook 2007 and that has a tools setting but I wonder, with the new programmes (apps) whether you might find it in the Settings feature of Windows. Try going to Windows (I find it in the very bottom left of my screen when you move the cursor over the bottom), click on the little box with the pointy bottom. This brings up an option to go to All Settings. Click and then go to Apps. Select Outlook and see how you go.
Cheers from a very Wintery, wet, cold New Zealand.

On Outlook 2016, try the "File" tab, then select "Account Settings". You can select the POP3 server, and change the P/W there.

I'm with Jlocke, Consider changing to another e-mail client.

My copy of Microsoft Outlook "broke" during the last week of classes. My students and I keep in high contact, so they can ask questions 7 days a week. So, Outlook broke? I called Microsoft, and was told to buy the subscription replacement. Seriously?

Well, with the help of one of my physics students, who was also an IT Major, he installed Thunderbird onto my computer. It is OUTSTANDING. I wish I had it years ago. So there is your alternate to Microsoft outlook.

Having been an infrastructure site manager for over ten years, and supporting M/S Office in a number of versions, the biggest problem is with folks who are either too scared, or unteachable, when it comes to pull-downs in M/S applications. M/S product classes are only meant to supply minimal skills, and users need to use the products, and explore the various options ongoing. Thinks as basic as fonts and colors are total mysteries to those who are afraid to use the pull-downs and icons to find out what the application will actually do.

I'm using Outlook 2016 as we speak.
Go to File---Info--Account Settings--Manage Profiles--Email accounts button.... This is where you can change ALL account settings.

Service Desk Manager for 17 years that supported various companies as their IT help desk - had a user that couldn't get their computer on - kept telling us they pushed the on/off button and the green light would come on but the screen would stay dark... the button was on the monitor - not on the computer (which was sitting on the floor)... Yep, understand your experiences. We used to laugh about them but in reality - it's pretty sad...

I had a call in client I had not dealt with before.
I asked, "Do you have Windows on your machine?"
He responded, "No, but it's on a table next to the window. Is that OK?"

There was silence as I was not sure if he was joking. Sadly I soon realized he was not.
