I saw this masterpiece when I was a kid on a B&W TV set.
Always revisit it from times to times. Jus sharing with you.

Why do you think this is a masterpiece? It's the most simply form of animation one can do.

Perhaps the term ' masterpiece' was chosen because it can engage the viewer into the drama of wanting to be loved?

Because it is, for me. Some love MirĂ³. I think his paintings are
as primary as children's finger paintings. As a matter of fact,
I would include Picasso on this list too.
But the animation, along with the text (well narrated, BTW)
moves me into good sensations.

Just because someone says, it does not mean it is. Whatever it is.
