Yes. This is from the northern part of the Ka’anapali area. So well past Lahaina Town. From the general area you get outstanding views of Molokai (this one) and Lanai. Just takes some walking to find your desired spot. I scout locations midday and then return to wherever before dawn to get organized/set up. A headlamp is very useful if you try it on your next trip.

Thanks. This is a particularly handy little spot. As the dawn light begins I start with Lanai island when the orange glow gets going and a bit later, maybe 15 minutes, Molokai starts to get sidelight so I moved the tripod maybe 8 feet to catch Molokai. Sort of a little two for one location. A real bargain in my book.

Agreed. Rarely have I been disappointed by the colors/contrast in this area.
