Looks like the VR model, not VR II. VR II will have "II" on the ID tag.

OK Great thanks for pointing that out. I sincerely thought it was and will call Nikon to verify. Regardless there is a sale pending but I will alert the buyer.
I believed based on the serial number that it is the last model before the FL version.

There's never been a VRII designation for that lens. Could have sworn I had read it was but I digress.
