Thanks for the response Regis, good info.
My primary camera is a 1Dx MkII as I shoot mostly action. It might be able to raise the internal sharpness also...I will have to look into that some more. I don't think the weight should be an issue as my body, L bracket and 70-200 f/2.8 probably is nearly 7 lbs. Throw on a Speedlite 600 which I sometimes use when shooting drag racing and I'm pretty sure I would hit 7 lbs. One of these days I would like to get a longer prime or two. I did play with a used 200-400DO a couple years ago. I think they wanted $8500 used for it... it was in nice shape. Wasn't willing to spend that at the time though. I'm sort of a 1 or 2 nice bodies and a few great lenses kind of guy.

Well, the Canon 5Dsr is a 50.6 MP camera and this camera can be internally sharpened to #5 (0-5) to maximize the sharpness and with the razor-sharp Canon 300 2.8 II lens, you will get extreme sharpness in the camera avoiding any computer resolution enhancement. The Canon 2x III does a great job with this camera and lens. I can easily read a car license plate at a 1/2 mile in the camera.
The photo combo does weigh about 8 lbs. See below photo of my photo combo. If I can hand hold this camera gear weight at 75, then most younger photographers shouldn't have a problem.
Thank you very much, Notorious T.O.D.
