One of favorite subjects to photograph is landscapes reflecting off of water. Here are a few examples that I've taken on backpacking trips into the back country of the Sierra Nevada mountains.

There is something so soothing about a shot reflecting in calm water. Beautiful set.

Wow, those are awesome! I love reflections too, and am trying to learn the best f stop and shutter speed combinations to get great shots like these. I got my first DSLR about four months ago, and from looking at the lack of sharpness in my photos, I still have SO MUCH to learn!

All these photos were taken with the camera on auto mode. I'm basically an amateur at this myself and most everything I've done at first was on auto while I tried to master things like lighting and composition etc. You can go online to get camera settings for certain things you interested in photographing, example, I got tips and camera settings to photograph humming birds and the milky way.
