Old Sheldon Church is located near Yemassee, SC. It was built between 1745 and 1753. During the Revolutionary War it was burned by the British. Being rebuilt in 1826, it was again burned by Sherman's Army in 1865. It was completely destroyed except for the brick structure picture in the photos. Two color and two black and whites are attached.
