I volunteered to shoot at a March of Dimes golf event (corporate/partner sponsored) when I was asked by our senior executive sponsor . I have 700 nice photos from the event. What is the best place to post event photos so that attendees can see and have access to the photos? I have their email addresses, but not sure where to post for viewing.

Doesn't March of Dimes have a Website that you can post to?

Not sure about that. I will check with the corporate admin.

How about asking the senior executive sponsor that asked you what the process/policy is...

You can set up one or more albums on Google Photos. Each album has a link which you can e-mail. They can view, download, add to the album depending on your preferences.

Best site would be March of Dimes or the Sponsor's, otherwise there are a bunch of free storage sites (see link). Could maybe then get MOD or Sponsor to share the link on their site, in their newsletter, etc.

And obviously if you have 700 shots assume half or more are duplicates to delete.

It was a full 8 hour shoot. There weren’t any duplicates. I do have some cropped close ups generated from the “auto portrait mode” feature on the Sony a6000 that I will leave in.

I shoot these types of events all the time. Be careful how many you post. People are busy with their stuff and usually don't have time to look at 700 photos. I post 50-100 photos that "tell the story". Also, 700 photos take up a lot of room on someone's web site.

I just did a 5k race and had over 300 shots. I posted albums back to the FB web page they set up for the event then posted them all online using Adobe and shared that link with a note that I’d leave it up for a few weeks so people could view and download there course pics in full resolution if they wanted to.

I like Google Photos. Post the pictures into a separate album and get a link to send to people.

I use Shutterfly to share images with others. I have 5 sites. It's easy, fast and convenient. I've been using it for 13+ years.
