An awesome shot, Larry!
Interesting thing is, that the camera focusing system picked up correctly the head (and eyes) of the bird and didn't get confused with a much larger area like the wings.
BTW: Did you have the camera set up for a small center area focus?

Thanks and I'd love to see what's left on that list!

Maybe the biggest attainable one (for me) is an Osprey full dive sequence - like Mark Smith and reconvic seem to get ! .....

This rehabed GHO was released back into the wild today and I was invited to attend. I positioned myself with the Sun and the backround and everything worked as planned and with some luck added ! This ticks another box on my bucket list !

Canon 80D and Canon 70-300 IS II nano handheld, @ 300mm, 1/1600, f8, 400 ISO in bright late afternoon light, with a small cropping.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting ! .......Larry
