It's straight up 14th St.
Gaze at City Hall.
Run up the stairs like Stallone did.
Don't forget to yell "Rhonda!" also.
Then tap Billy Penn on top of his head for good luck.
LOL!
There is no 14th Street in Philadelphia PA.
Nice close-ups/face shots!
Interesting images Scott, very well done. And welcome to UHH.
Don
Thanks - - never knew about this.
Can you tell more about the background - - it looks a lot like its own Mardi Gras...
Thanks Everyone for your kind comments.

Do you have an eight-year-old that gives you every argument in the world as to why he can't take out the trash - - the argument takes half an hour while taking out the trash would have taken 5 minutes...

No Carol, I take out my own trash and can't imagine having an 8-year-old, lol. But, what I was referring to is:

Facetiousness is it's own reward.
If you know Philly, everything I said is wrong.
Yes "14th" is Broad Street, where the parades are done.
I lived mostly between 7th and Chestnut to 5th and Miflin.
The "upscaling" started: Electric Ave and South St got gentrified, and the 9th St market closed.
Front St was where the bodies went. The cobblestones killed suspensions.
I played in the Hobo Band one year.

Although I have never lived in Philadelphia, and probably never will, I've been going into the city since childhood, mostly center City. I had family in other sections of the city but they are all gone now and I wouldn't go into those areas now without a police escort. Didn't they rename Front street Columbus Blvd. I always liked the cobblestone, although I never drove on it. South Street use to be really rundown, it's improved a lot since then. Many years ago I use to go to a bar called the Khyber Pass on Second street. I still remember the big dig when they built the railroad tunnel thru center City. We use to shop at the big 4, Gimbals, Lit Brothers, Strawbridges and Wanamaker's. I can't count the number of times I've been to the Franklin Institute and the Natural History museum, and the Mutter museum; that place is cool, weird but cool. The wife and I still go into Philadelphia several times a year, by car and SEPTA. I've been attending the flower show since it was held at the old Civic center. I may not know Philadelphia like someone who lives there but I know enough to stay out of trouble.
Looks like a good time was had by all. Some of it reminds me of Native American dance! With a much different attitude!
