Merced Fruit Barn 1

One of my favorite places to photograph is the Merced Fruit Barn on HWY 140, just north of Merced about 4 miles on the left! Continue on HWY 140 about 28 miles to Mariposa and then on to Yosemite National Park! I’ll feature the Fruit Barn for the next 5 days. This is a great place to visit offering everything for home and garden including a variety of very tame farm animals that are so use to people they don’t move when you photograph them! I hope you enjoy the many still life settings that beg to be photographed! Comments Welcomed!

Bill, this looks like a fun place to visit and shoot pics. I don't remember it being there when I lived in Atwater.
Haven't been on for quite sometime. Had major hardware and software problems for about four weeks. Finally just gave up and purchased a new computer.

Thanks so much for commenting Carol! After processing these I realized I didn't take hardly any fruit pictures! They also sell nut and fruit baskets, special order items and have a great lunch and snack bar.

Sorry to hear about your computer problems Rowedean! I know what you mean! Went through that myself not long ago! The Barn has been there for some time! They grow their own fruits and vegetables! The animals are amazing! I'm saving them for last!

Bill, an awesome looking business. The chickens and roosters would be in my yard if it were closer than thier location.
