Complete Osprey Dive

The D850 shoots 9 frames per second and the buffer stops at 20 fps, so as close as I can estimate the dive took 2.2 seconds. The lens was a Sigma 600 Contemporary that has performed tremendously. The last image (#10) was a few seconds after the actual dive and from military experience I compare it to a: "Victory Flyby"that our fighter jets flew over us as we cheered our appreciation...OORAH!

Your Osprey hasn't learned to carry it's fish "head" forward yet. It must be a young Osprey. Nice set of pictures. I know how hard it is to get them as they are in a dive and just about to hit the water. I've tried many times.
