Fall photo trip 395 - Carson Valley to June Lake Loop

Ok - this is a few months in advance - 4 months give or take - who also is planing this fall color and scenic shoot of CA 88 Carson pass , Hope Valley, Monitor Pass, 395 on to Bridgeport , Travertine Hot Springs thru Bodie, Conway Summit, Mono Lake, Tioga Pass and June Lake Loop - my plans are to watch the 10 day weather and pick the most favorable of the time from Oct 12 thru Qct 20 and go for 3 nights 5 days staying at the Bridgeport inn - " camping/pic=nicking" mid day - The fall colors are usually prime then
I have lived in the area for 40 yrs off and on but only photoed it the last 12 or so - my last 2 yrs of going to Bridgeport, Conway, Bodie & Mono Lake have been the most well planned and productive of all. Feel free to PM me for more info and photos from my past trips.

Beautiful countryside and opportunities for images. The Owens Valley is like a magnet for me. I will be in Lone Pine 1st week of June for Milky Way imagery.

#1 I truly envy you for your opportunity to do so much photography and the quality images you produce.
as one who has traveled the 395 from the Bishop area all the way to Pendelton. OR 'WITHOUT A CAMERA' several times as a youth there is so much I remember from those trips and am just now getting to 'capture' a portion of them.
I hope someday we can meet along 395 for coffee and a chat.

I would be interested however with the unusual weather occurrences it could be earlier as this picture was taken the first week in October in recent years. Photo was taken in Bishop and as you can see already lots of snow in the high country.
