Vision of Vets: New release of video
Vision of Vets is proud to release its newest augmented reality short video (2.5 minutes) of U.S. Army Sgt. Maj. He talks about his involvement in multiple missions to Iraq, Afghanistan and African countries, and ends with a message to youth. This not-for-profit organization has recorded the experiences of veterans of World War II – including a U.S. Marine Navajo Code Talker and a U.S. Navy prisoner of war who spent 1,368 days in Japanese captivity – the Korean War, Vietnam War, the War on Terror, and a female K-9 handler (and her dog) who served missions in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The organization also researches earlier wars in U.S. history and interviews reenactors in historically-accurate uniforms as they tell their “stories.” These accounts have sparked an excitement in students to learn more about military servicemen and servicewomen. When veterans visit Prescott Valley, Arizona, classrooms, students often are overwhelmed and have expressed their gratitude and respect in heartwarming ways.

That's a great thing to do. You should see how much our school children think of the images and the veteran's stories.
