Nothing is overpriced if you need it or want it badly enough.

I can't imagine! Such control! INDEPENDENTLY variable shutter speeds and apertures! And is uses FILM! No more seeing your results instantly. You can even make books and paste the pictures in them to look at! Incredible and at a price only the rich can afford.

Except that what might have been state of the art in 1960, might not quite 60 years later.

There are quite a few 110’s on eBay at about a Jackson apiece.

I have a couple of Polaroid 110B's modded to shoot 120 roll film, and one to shoot 4X5 DDS format film. I can pick up another (about to) 110A complete kit for $100 on local Craigslist posting. Cheaper to make your own and the 110A & B's have a quality Rodenstock Ysarex 125 Cm lens.

Hence Medium or large format.

That sounds like a fun project! I have several 110s sitting around and would love to see details on the conversion.

Andy,

There are a lot of variations of conversions of the Polaroid 110, 110A and B, The Razzle conversions got my attention some years ago. Here is a link to a more recent Byron 110 B conversion that actually uses interchangeable lenses to shoot 4x5, AND use the B rangefinder.

I much preferred the Razzle variants by a fellow named Dean from Australia. Then I went on to cut the superfluous metal from the 110 body, ground screen focus, and a slightly lighter body and Fujifilm Quickload envelopes.

I even have a variation the uses 35mm cartridges and creates some hellish big panoramas on 35mm film.

It's been fun.

At last they've discovered how to have BOTH shutter speed and aperture controls in the same camera (according to the promotional ad). But they had to make their own bellows because they couldn't find anyone to make them.
And it's ONLY 900 bucks!

I is cornfused ....
I has old folder cameras. I know 4 or 5 places selling bellows.
You want leather, plastic, paper? Color? Custom sizes?
What is the IQ difference betwixt this and say a Fujifilm Instax Wide 300 for @ $150?
