Yesterday my wife celebrated with some fellow graduates her 1969 graduation from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Nineteen started, thirteen finished, two have passed away and nine were able to attend. The event was celebrated with a picnic at the home of a fellow graduate. The home is located on a tidal creek off Charleston harbor. The house was built in the late 1860s after the civil war. The photos show the toasting of the Golden Grads and the house and grounds. The host told me to keep my camera handy as one or two bald eagles visited there almost every day. He pointed out the live oak tree and branch on the tree where one of the eagles almost always landed. A photo of the eagle is included. It was a most happy day for the Golden Grads. Comments are most welcome.
Beautiful place. The eagle was the icing on the cake.
