UHH Search Question

Is there a way to have UHH search results returned or presented in chronological order? The few search’s I have done present the data in random (?) order. I’d like to see the most current items first.

Thanks.

Use google add the hog's web address, select "tools", then select a date range.

They appear to be in descending order.

That’s what I do.

The search software used by this site is very old tech, and appears to only search titles. Given the propensity of many to post informative titles like “Which lens?” and “I have a problem”, the results miss a lot. Errors in spelling and citing model names and numbers by the posters may also cause misses. Google helps, but doesn’t catch every such typo.

If you check the "advanced options" box you can limit your search to recent items.

You can click on advanced and check most recent. That sometimes helps a little. But generally, as noted, the search on this site is weak.

Yup! Only titles are searched. Google will search page contents.
Those are totally worthless subject titles for a UHH search.
Just like "Help!" or "Question" or "How do I ..."

However, my FAVORITE titles are something like "Taos, NM".
Open it up... "I'm going to Taos next week......"
WTH - I thought I was going to see images of Taos!
Can't use a title like "Going to Taos, any recommendations?"? or "What's good to see in Taos?"

If saw a title "Acadia National Park" what would you expect to see?

A question like “Which lenses should I bring to Acadia National Park?” This is a photography site after all!

😂 LOL!
