I have a Bogen 3030 tripod head which is missing the disconnect plate which attaches to the camera and allows the camera to be secured to the tripod head. Anybody out there have an extra disconnect plate? There is one on eBay, a complete head with two disconnect plates but I do not need a complete extra head.
Any thoughts? Many thanks.

It shouldn't be hard to find and buy a replacement, by itself. I bought several Manfrotto mounting plates individually. I have a plate mounted permanently on each camera, so I can just snap it onto the tripod/monopod. Actually, I see that Bogen and Manfrotto are interchangeable now.

If you search ebay with "Manfrotto" and the part number you will get plenty of hits, both the real deal and Chinese

Many thanks Larrie. I was able to locate the part on Amazon for a good price. It arrives this week so I'll know soon how good a deal it really was.
