Better than I imagined, and my expectations were high!! I have about 1700 shots downloaded into LR (maybe 1/3 of the actual number taken). From time to time, as I edit and organize, I'll post some. If anyone is jealous, you've got every right.
The first 3, taken soon after dawn, are of the Giant Tortoise, the keystone of the entire flora and fauna population of the islands. (I'll explain farther if wanted.) I included a shot of me...nice to meet everyone...for scale. The two other tortoise shots are of the sleeping animals.
The next four are of the frigatebirds (not frigates, which are ships) doing their things. The shot of the two males fighting over a stick, with a female checking them out, might have been lucky.
My camera is an Oly OM-D EM1ii with a pro Zuiko 12-100 zoom. Not only did I not take a telephoto, there were times when I had to move to avoid infringing upon the "stay at least six feet away" rule, as seen in the last shot.
More to come. My eyes are tired. 1st world problem.
That last one is terrific!
Very nice set. Looks like a wonderful adventure.

Itβs amazing to me that bird can still fly with so few feathers in its wings!
