nice shots Sue.. the choice of black/white is a great choice to show the solemnity. Looks like someone saw you taking the photo.

Thank you. Actually, he was all the way across the memorial - his attention was on what was in front of him.

Two very good shots, Sue. The B&W work is great, and I love your perspective on the first one. And also, the expression on the guy. It just fits the situation.

Thanks for sharing Sue. As an old man, this may be as close as I ever get to the Memorial. The expression on the man's face says it all. Godspeed the victims of 9/11! Well done!

Nice shot. Have you thought about zooming and cropping? The background to the r and l don't add to the story. I'd also remove the "No whatever" sign in the background.

Great shots, Sue! The man's expression sums the serious quality of the place. Monochrome was the perfect media for these shots. Thanks for sharing.

I did a bit of tweaking which improved things a bit - the blurred sign stays as it is a part of the environment.
