I need a small backpack for traveling. No larger than 17x10x9 I need to carry a nikon d750 with 70x200, 24x70, charger and kindle fire. I'm having a hard time finding a small backpack. Thanks!📷

I use a LowePro Photo Classic, which meets airline carry on requirements.

Holds a Nikon D850, 2 lenses and all the accessories. I put my iPad flat against the cameras and zipped up the lid. I would recommend putting the Nikon charger, which is as big as a house, in checked in luggage.

I have a Tamrac backpack that measures 12x9x6. It has a tab on the side that says 4281 which might be the model number. It has a main compartment with padded adjustable dividers, 2 zippered mesh pockets in the inside cover. I think you could fit the camera with lens attached and the smaller lens. There's an outside zippered pocket where you could store the Kindle Fire. Two mesh outside side pockets would hold a water bottle and such. I would pack the battery charger in my checked luggage.

My bigger backpack is a Tenba. It measures 16x12x6. It has 2 main zippered compartments. I put 1 body with lens attached in each of the compartments (2 ready-to-shoot cameras). There are inside compartments as well - one would fit your Kindle. The others can be used for storage cards/batteries. This one also has outer pockets for water bottles. There's also a bottom zippered pocket with a rain cover in it.

ThinkTank Photo has several series of backpacks, and many of the series have a small model. You might examine them to see if one of the small models would meet your needs. Good luck. /Ralph

The Lowepro Flipside 400 would meet your size needs as well as hold all your gear securely with room to spare. And only around $120

I agree. I have the Lowepro Flipside sport. Plenty of room and will fit under a airline seat. I bought mine with little use from this site.

Take a look at the Think Tank Streetwalker V2. Measures 9.8 x 17.3 x 7.1. I have one and love it. Has a pocket for your tablet and should just fit what you are looking to carry. Can also strap a tripod to it. Very comfortable to wear.

I use a Think Tank Turnstyle 20 Slingbag I can carry a D750 w/24-120, Nikon 18-35 and Sigma 100-400 with room for miscellaneous small things, not sure if the Kindle Fire will fit though.

Take a look at the Lowepro Tahoe BP150. I've used mine with body and a couple of lenses and accessories. If you arrange the internals properly the 70-200 may fit mounted on the body. There is a pocket that I can fit my 13" Dell XPS in, so a tablet should be no problem.

Got this Tamrac HooDoo on sale at B&H Photo for $39 in early April. I packed my Fuji X-T3 plus three lenses, charger, spare batteries & cards, and a 13" notebook (with charger) without any issues. Even at it's normal price of $79 it is a great buy.

Look at the Case Logic CPL-109 . It is very versatile, but may be slightly larger than your target dimensions. In addition to camera storage, there is an iPad slot, place for a water bottle, and had a waterproof cover that's always at hand.

It has been with me all over the world.

Company's customer support is also outstanding. One of the strap buckles broke after catching it in a door, and company sent me a replacement at no charge!
