Fabulous photo of a fabulous ship. There's hours of photo ops on that vessel. Do you have any idea of it's history and is it moored there permantley or just visiting.

Hi Ian,
Thanks for the kind words. We saw the ship sailing about 1 mile away as we came into Lewes Harbor. Had no idea what it was. Turns out to be a tourist attraction. I didn't have the opportunity to board it, but, you are right. Hours of photo ops. BTW, look closely at the side of the ship. There is a woman standing on the side along the gang plank. Believe it or not, I think she is taking pictures!

Beautiful shot! Love to see the tall ships. Thanks for sharing a great photo.
You got a GREAT shot!
Every time I've been around when it was moored, it's been cloudy and foggy lol.
Anyway, it's moored for a limited time every summer. You can tour it inside and out and even go out on it a bit (working while you learn about life on a ship of this kind)... for a price and with reservations of course.
Thanks for the great shot!
(I'll find the link with more information and share here)
That's the Kalmar Nyckel, a true replica of the swedish vessel that landed in wilmington. It's usually docked on the christiana river in wilmington.
