There are people who 'judge you' by scouring your online 'presence'. From Banks to Employers etc. to see if you are a 'desirably Asset'. Perhaps emoji's may put you on one side of their line or not. But probably your 'presence' decides most.

Have Fun

Thanks, G … that's the fun of this post - trying to find out whether UHH thinks Emojis are fun, or not.

So, like I said earlier, your thread is not about photography. It is about people's opinions of Emojis which, in case you didn't know, are not typically photographs.

Could be, Bill … see - that's what I mean - we need consistency in regard to this …

Just as we need consistency in regards to what constitutes a Super-Zoom … bridge, or lens?

And - what constitutes a CROP camera .. APS-C, or MFT, or both?

And - what does CROP actually mean - is it about an image, or about something that grows? and so on!!!

To me a crop camera is based on the sensor being smaller (cropped) than 24x36 for a DSLR.
My Sony H1 has a very small sensor, but I don't consider it a crop sensor, because it's not a DSLR.

I would consider an MFT (If it has interchangeable lenses) a crop if the sensor is smaller than 24x36.
A bridge if it does not have interchangeable lenses.

My H1 is a bridge camera, my S60 is a pocket camera.

A bridge camera does not have interchangeable lenses. I'd accept the Wikipedia definition: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridge_camera

Super zoom??? That's relative? Big-ass zoom?

A "superzoom" - is used to describe two items in photography - both, a bridge with a long zoom lens, AND a long lens - either of the Telephoto type, and/or - a long zoom - say 50-500, or 150-600, etc., etc.

So, it has TWO uses … CROP also has two uses in photography - both - as an editing element in PP, AND - as a way of naming the kind of digital camera, which shoots LESS than a 24x36 image on its sensor.

Yes, Bill … all MFTs have interchangeable lenses. It is the acronym for Micro Four Thirds - which are the camera designs espoused by Olympus and Panasonic (primarily) based on the 110 film negative.

You could add a third use, taking a paper print and cutting it to fit a smaller frame. That would be cropping also.

'Crop' itself has only one use, to make smaller. Whatever it's reference.
