That’s a lot of advice you’ve given me. Thanks for your patience. Really appreciate it. Hopefully I can apply them correctly in my next photo session.

One critique I would make is that the images are not tack sharp. That may be due to a slow shutter speed because of the low light, but I would certainly pay attention to getting the eyes in sharp focus

There are many tutorials on YouTube and other venues. It would be a good start in looking through these to see what you like. Try to emulate those shots as much as possible. (Caution: Be ready and willing to take a lot of bad shots.)

One suggestion. Focus on the eyes. You can easily relate to your model that way. And talk to your model as you shoot. A model, regardless of experience, who participates in the shoot can often provide you with direction for the shoot.

Do post your efforts here and expect a wide range of commentary. Even the bad ones can give you insight.

Do a run of the threads in this forum. Good examples available with diverse commentary.

Right off, in both of them, feet and hands/arms are cut off by the edge of the photograph. The first one the lighting seems to be from behind the model. Thus, creating some odd shadows on her face. Be aware that there are a myriad of things to consider in this genre of photography. Having a willing model is certainly a huge plus, as it will give you someone to practice your skills as they develop. Keep at it.

Too grainy also the tatoo on her right is only partially showing and looks weird. I would suggest that you show all of it or none.

Please notice that the phrase boudoir photography has the word photography in it. The best thing you can do to improve your boudoir photography is to practice taking portraits of people with their clothes on. Take your wife or girlfriend to a park on a cloudy day and work on poses and just practice. Buy a cheap pair of lights and light stands and practice portraits inside. Try not to use your camera mounted flash. Read this forum,
Read a general photography book. Practice, practice, practice!

A little too noisy. Work on fixing that first.

Totally agree, a lot of distractions, not too keen on the tattoo
