I bought this for a tilting macro lens that I put together - but found that a 75mm length works better for me. So, I offer this here.
It has a 42mm Pentax screw mounting and 40.5mm front thread (I think) and a 5 leave diaphram.
It is Rodenstock's best 6 element enlarging lens - great for macro work also. There no issues with the glass/optics or the diaphram. (stops to f22)

I thought it was L39 originally - till I measured it and screwed into a Pentax Spotmatic !

Nice. Do check whether it's a
step-up ring over a 39, which
would also be an asset. Use a
rubber band to get a grip and
see if you can unscrew it.

Yes, you are correct - is 39 with a 42 adapter ring.
