I have been taking classes and never understood the difference in using manual or automatic, I love how my pictures come out now using manual, can't believe all this time I have been using auto. I know I still need work on capturing the moment, but just got excited about these being some of my first in manual.

Cute photos, Heather Anne! I can see why you're excited.
Just remember, there's You and there's Auto...you're both trying to do the same thing. Sometimes Auto does just fine, other times You can do better. But don't forget you're a Team!

Thanks for the advice that is what my teacher says also, but this was the first time that I got brave to do it, and also I have never done it in raw until now, I am just going to keep going to class and keep practicing.

 Love the enthusiasm and the great memories caught on camera. It is amazing how much you can control what you shoot when you take it off the AUTO setting. ;-)
