A good friend who teaches photography at our local community college brought his class to my portrait studio for them to shoot a portrait assignment. I was asked to shoot several of them as an introduction. Her is one of the students. She is 22 years old and not sure which side of the camera she should find herself.

I am interested in constructive critique.

Thank you for your time.

Maybe we could see her hair a little clearer but her face and hands are exquisite.

She's a beautiful young lady, especially her hair. What would you think about bringing out more of her hair tones?

David, I would have use a hair light to provide separtion of the model to the backdrop. What do you think?

Her hands look exaggerated, too large.

I'd have preferred more angled light to bring out her facial details better. A little classic Rembrant lighting.

If she is as good behind the camera, as she looks in front of it, she might have a good career as a photographer!

Lovely young woman in a lovely direct pose. Would like the hair to stand out from the background. She could very well model while her eyes show a photographer's perception. I feel that she will capture great images as a photographer.

"Her hands look exaggerated, too large."

I tend to agree. I do not favor posing a model straight on but that is me. Those hands could be posed better.

Very nice, I like the emphasis on her face from the dark background, Bob.

Why did you choose to post her and no one else?
