Photoshopelements 14-email problem

I suddenly can no longer email pictures from Photoshop Elements 14. I get the message "Please check your email address and password, then try again." My email address and password have not changed and are correctly entered. What might be a solution. Thanks in advance for any suggested fixes. Never had this problem emailing pictures previously.

Suggest you contact Adobe for assistance regarding PS Elements.

Look through this help topic and see if anything jumps out at you:

Have you recently created another email account (such as for web purchasing) in addition to the one you didn't change?

My suggestion is to join another email carrier. I had a similar problem and now use gmail exclusively. They have some problems too, but so long as your attachments don't exceed their limits, I've not had any problems sending any attchments.

If this does turn out to be unfixable for whatever reason, and if you don't want to change email carriers, simply re-size your photos, do save-as, save to a simple location such as a desktop folder you've named "for email," open your email program and use the attachment procedure. Might sound clunky at first, but I've never used photo editing software to email photos, so you can trust me: it will become second-nature in no time

I got around this by creating a new file in a folder "For Emailing" and then email from that.

In addition to a "wrong password" message, I get an email from Google that they have blocked an email from a non-Google app. I’m thinking I may have to go into my Google account and see if I have an option to change that constraint.

Login to your Google account, go to Security, and scroll down to find "Allow less secure apps." I had the same problem and that fixed it. As long as you are the only one using Elements to email with Gmail on your secure system then I don’t think that’s it a security issue, but Google doesn’t like it.

I got the same message when I tried to send something from Lightroom.
I also got a message from Google saying that something was being sent from a new source.
I said to allow it, but it never worked.

Now to try this method. Nothing else has worked.
