I believe this is my first post in this section. My photography passion is wildlife, especially water birds, but I catch a few landscapes while out birding. Thought I'd post this image and ask for your critiques. Thanks in advance.
Farmers work the land, fishermen work the sea. I'm immediately drawn to the sun sparkles, the lines that take us from beach to distance, and the limited colors. I believe the horizon should be straight, but a one-degree rotation fixes that nicely.
The composition is a little difficult because the two most interesting parts IMO are at each edge. I kind of want to crop a chunk out of the middle and move them closer together
An alternative is to remove the two middle poles.
I've pm'd you the cloning result 'cause because I find it more interesting.
Whatever you decide, including leaving as-is, it's a very engaging scene.
I disagree with Linda here. The fisherman is working 4 fishing poles so the images tells the story of surf fishing as it is.

Ah, I should have thought about that!

Thank you for the feedback, it is much appreciated. I leveled the horizon in this update and added another shot. Which one would you print to hang on the wall?

Well, my walls are kinda full with my own photos, lol, but #1 tells a much stronger story. Thanks!
