Departing Abilene, KS with ETA of 1200 hrs to Superior, NE. In case anyone interested, max track speed is 40 MPH over the BNSF Strong City Subdivision & it is all "dark."

Wonderful catch!!
A week or so back I saw a Warbonnet in the Belen NM yard (Via Railfan webcams) I wonder if that could be the same one. FYI in the Belen yard there is a Blue and Gold Santa Fe doing switcher duty and it still has Santa Fe on it. Those two paint jobs have to be over 20 years old!

Ps: found this screen capture

Thank you. FYI, the BNSF 685 was paired with the BNSF 554 (both Warbonnets) with horrible faded paint jobs and was working the local between Abilene, KS & Superior, NE the other week. Warbonnets still exist, it is just some have good paint still while others you can barely read the unit numbers.
