I gave up long ago on reminding people of the difference. Saw a real estate sign with "there" for "they're". You also will see "fore or four" for "for" and other things. Then there is the confusion between "to", "too" and "two". On the main subject, women consider shopping recreation as well as necessity.

I once did that - had several items plus a watermelon in my arms - a store employee asked if I wanted a cart and I told her I didn't need one - within minutes the watermelon flew out of my grasp, did a slow motion somersault in the air and crashed onto the floor! So much for not needing a cart!
