Hi again,
I'm pretty happy with my real estate photography (with thanks to all of you here that have advised me on technique). Like many of you I'm sure I keep looking to upgrade. I'm happy with my go-to lens (Canon EF 16-35 F4 L) and would like to stick with Canon. Recently I've looked at the following 3 camera bodies which now make up my shortlist. The problem is I keep changing my mind and prices are all over the place. Any experience of these out there?
Canon 5D Mark IV
Canon EOS R
Canon EOS RP
My first hands on at the weekend left me feeling that the 5D is BIG, The RP is not that much smaller than the R yet feels a little cheaper.
I think in any event I'll keep the trusty 6D as it's proven to be a robust and reliable machine. I'm up to about 8,000 shutter activations which I don't think is anything to worry about.
Do I stick or twist?

I personally own the Canon 5DIV, Canon 6D, and the Canon RP Mirrorless.
I have no experience with the Canon EOS R.
While I do like all three of the listed bodies.
I like them all for different reasons.
What is important to me is low light photography and all three do low light very well, however, the RP really excels. It also weighs about 1/2 of what the 5DIV weighs.
Yes, I know that the RP, the 6D & 6DII are rumored to have the same sensors. I have yet to see Canon confirm or deney this.
However, if that is true, the computer (Digi?) in the EOS RP must be "light years" (grin) ahead of my 6D and 5DIV Canon bodies when it comes to low noise in low light.
Personally, just using the Canon RP camera body with Canon RF, F4 24-105mm L IS USM (kit) lens and without applying Denoise, stacking, layering, etc. I get very good, very low noise exposures.
If you do decide to go with either the Canon R or RP you will have to get the Canon Control Ring Mount Adapter EF-EOS R ($199) to use your current favorite lens.
Personally, I don't feel comfortable giving advice on which is best because I don't know about ALL of your applications. That being said, I REALLY like the Canon RP.
On travel, I have put the RP in Program and just fired away without worries. It also has Manual modes and a host of other modes including the "New Fv" mode.
Now, if you can hold out (grin) I think that the next generation Canon IS R or RP body will be the bomb when coupled with an IS lens.
I have posted a video and two web sites below that I personally used that may assist you with comparisons.
