So I need some help on lens heater for camera lenses to shoot the MK . What are y’all using and how are y’all powering it. Do you need to use any kind of a controller? Yep I tried the hand warmers , for whatever reason 4 of them didn’t heat up.
Thanks Ron

Do you use anything to regulate the heat or just plug it in and go? Thanks for your input. Ron

I have my home made one I soldered resistors into than I run on 12 volts.
Pretty crude, but keeps my lens clear. It simply warms the glass slightly to keep the dew off.
I use it when doing overnight time-lapse image collecting on my wide-angle lens.
I like Marc's USB idea though. But I use a car battery to run my mount and cameras. So headed that direction. Since mine is used in the garden (backyard), I use a power supply plugged in.
