Idea was to go a town hall political discussion, where a variety of speakers get a microphone, and the opportunity to debate with an engaged audience; my concept was to capture speaker and an engaged audience member, then put the speaking heads together in the same image.
Federal election here in 5 days time, minor and sort of fringe parties given an opportunity on a soap box (short ladder actually) by the city council in the sunny corner of a local park - public and media invited.
So here are some my initial attempts - I will try and give you some idea of what was being said in the description of each.
Worth persevering with the concept?

That was fun! Excellent post.
Very cool, a great idea. Interesting people studies. Nice that there was disagreement, but no violence. If I had a bulletproof camera, I might try that here at home.
Funny thing about the disagreements was that there was much more respect and restraint shown face to face, than you typically encounter on-line.
There was of course one guy who demanded that I leave because with a long lens and a pole to support it I clearly must be from the security services spying ... [sigh] ....
More restraint, maybe, because there was no on-line anonymity in play?
Reminds me of the old days down at the Domain, on a sunday afternoon.
