Alaskan malamutes are very hard to train. He’s nothing like my other two. They were a breeze. He’s 5.5 months old and teething. At least I can stick my fingers in his mouth to retrieve items! He literally took it within 10 seconds of me putting it down. He’s spending a lot of time in doggie jail.

I’m hoping the broken connection can be fixed. I think I am going to just send it out. The nonprofit that I shot for will give me an additional amount for my donation.

Send it out WHERE??? There are hard drive recovery services that can deal with physical damage, but not physically-damaged memory card-recovery services.

My Alaskan Malamute puppy, Albus (a magician..lol), chewed my 64 gig memory card! There is minimal damage on the outside. I am getting a message that the card cannot be accessed both on the camera and the laptop. Any ideas before I send to one of those expensive data recovery places?

There are only a few gigs of photos on there.

If anyone has used a data recovery service, who was most reasonable.

Thanks,

Amy... pissed off doggie mom!

Once again proves the need for cloud backup.

OK, I can't resist. Warning: this may offend some people.

There is a 100% effective way to keep the dog from doing such things, just a little surgery, so easy that you can do it yourself, no need to bother the vet. You just cut the dog's tail off in the right place.

Where is the right place you ask? Right behind the ears.

The card must have contained your homework.

And how do you backup to the cloud between taking the card out of the camera and the dog grabbing it?
