Been on photo forums for years . There are three types.
The Nikonites/Nikonians. loads asking basic questions but run by the clique so if someone challenges the clique you get banned.eg a guy asking for advice ..he had removed a car to the left of the bride and groom and wanted congratulation..Sadly he forgot the lamppost sticking out the brides head ..banned for pointing that out . Banned for pointing out the bride was on the wrong side of the groom ..total riot ..they forgot the left hand with the ring was behind the groom ..banned

The Nikon Rumors with almost no beginners and solid discussion,pleasant polite people and great moderation and Nikon Gear for the tech heads. Easy to follow structure .

Then there is ugly headgehog ...unstructured ,meaningless titles to questions, Make of camera not mentioned, once it goes beyond 5 replies I dont even bother, you cannot refind a topic of interest ,far too big for the basic structure.
