Avalanche Lake Hike in Glacier National Park

Was able to hike to Avalanche lake in the park today...actually got to see and hear an avalanche - was pretty amazing - heard it crack and then a boom as a large slab settled and then sounded like thunder as it was falling! Was a first for me to actually see one.
