Brent, looks as tho you photographed a cover that would have cost a record company thousands of dollars. Excellent work, eye-catching. I am hit with the thought that without the title added the photo would have be an interesting but pointless exercise in image manipulation. Adding the title give meaning and turns the jumble of repetition into a story with impact and purpose and gave the eye a focal point to start in the circular dancing path. The red and green are a good choice. The Red-plugs give the hands a reason to reach. I really like it.

Thanks for your in depth analysis of this school project!

Great Album cover Brent. Very creative. Did you have the finished product in mind when you posed the model? Click Click.

Very impressive creation Brent! Your artistic background certainly paid-off on this project. ‘This would make an awsome album cover.

Thanks very much Goober. I think you know that I am an artist first and a photographer second. It helps!

That is so very cool how you came up with that Kaleidoscope effect and how it worked out as it did.

That's very talented and interesting. Thank you.

[quote=BrentHarder]I'm taking an intermediate photograph class at a local college and for my final project we each were required to design a Psychedelic album cover with the photos we have taken. The teacher wanted steps taken and shown along with the project. The first photo is the final project and the following photos were the steps taken along the way. These are best viewed in download mode.[/quote

Brent, that is a very nice abstract art piece. There is a lot of luck and skill in creating abstract pieces.

Thank you Jan for your compliments. I took the photo a month before the project and just looked through my archive to find something that I thought might work. Click click!!!

Well, no doubt, the PhotoShop offers a lot of possibilities with mirror imaging.
I like the idea of radial composition, Bret. Good work, I bet your instructor will be happy?
However, the image of your beautiful, shapely model by the pool is the best!!! LOL.

Thanks Paul for your comments. The model is a beautiful woman for sure and helps considerably in this image.
My instructor will be pleased with my project.
Thanks again Paul
