Hey Jules great shots as always! Curious, how do you deal with clouds going in and out? In the northeast I have yet to shoot a Lacrosse game under a cloudless sky. Do you narrow down your auto ISO or do you widen it. I have heard both. Some take a reading at full sun and another at full cloud cover and use those as top and bottom, others just open the ISO up at the top end and let it fly.
I always shoot sports at auto iso. Also shutter priority, a/c D9 focus and auto white balance. I like to concentrate on the game and the plays. The only thing I move up and down is the exposure compensation, maybe up 3 up 7, to give more light, etc. The settings are for clouds moving in and out. The other day I had the same thing happen all game. Here a couple of examples.
