GE X400 Camera-File Format

Just received this camera. I am using it for Real Estate Pictures. The problem with me is, it saves two files, one jpg, the other thm. Is there any way to save just jpg files.? I cant find this option anywhere. I have no use for the thm files, it is just filling up my memory card.
Anyone familiar with this please help.

Files with .thm extension are apparently thumbnail files which may be associated with the camera’s ability to select or route images to be printed. Was not able to find a way to turn off this feature. Googling “GE X400” brings up links to maintenance services, such as “6ya” (whoever they are?) which you might contact to see if there is a way for a camera maintenance person to stop the camera from saving .thm files, but be prepared to be told “no”.

Although I don't have that camera or any other GE camera, THM files are usually thumbnail files and usually hidden. If they are thumbnail files they shouldn't take up much space. In certain applications, thumbnail files store metadata that's needed by a corresponding file such as a video file. For kicks and giggles I scanned the cameras user manual and found no reference to thm or THM.

GE makes cameras? First I have heard of them.

Yes, bridge cameras. I bought one a few years ago at Sears - reduced 1/2 price because it was an out-of-box model previously on display. Lousy ergonomics, but otherwise okay. I believe GE makes pocket cameras too. Or at least they did so in the past.
