Hi. Does anyone know when the current Nikon sale / price reductions will end? May have to break the piggy bank for the 70-200 f2.8. I was unable to get the answer via google. Thx
Typically, at least 5-minutes before you finally decide to purchase ...
I know it is usually right before (5 min) I decide to buy.
I usually have the same kind of luck

I don't think camera companies announce their sales very far in advance.
Have you looked on KEH? They are having a sale on used lenses, 12% off. The code is LENS5E. I just bought a Nikon 35-135mm f/3.5-4.5 for about $79.00. I think I saw some 70-200mm listed. Check it out, it doesn't cost anything to look.
I recently called my local photo store about a Canon sale, they looked up the sale end date up on their computer and were happy to inform me.

I would buy it now and smile before you loose out. This lens has it's biggest reduction NOW. Use your credit card and pay it off in a month from now.

Good one. I usually ponder about a new purchase too long. By the time I act, it's too late. I've been looking at the discounted Nikon D500. I already have one but might pick up another since it's a camera I use a lot and I like to leave lenses on camera instead of swapping.

Thx MT Shooter
No problem. I figured somebody shouldbe honest enough to give you a straight answer.
Last year, it lasted until the end of May, which was when I sprung for my D750 with a battery grip and 24-120, all for the original price of the body alone.
Look at the Tamron line of lens. Many say that it is equal or better than the Nikon. Check with MT Shooter, Carter's Camera Cottage , he is one of the top ten Tamron dealers in the nation.
