We're fortunate in the DFW area to still have a few dedicated camera stores. It's alway nice to be able to go in and handle equipment before you buy.

Fort Worth Camera sponsors Fort Worth FotoFest each year. It's a combination of talks from local and national photographers, Photo events and a chance to try out the new equipment with a rep there to talk you through it. Photo events range from a day at a Texas Rangers game to a day at a dog park learning how to get better pictures of our furry friends. If you live in the area you need to check them out.

Last night's event was at the iconic Mexican Restaurant Joe T Garcia's. Great food, a chance to mingle with other Photographers and an opportunity to shoot the dancers of Ballet Folkloria!
