I remember Ed Ames and his brothers, his wonderful baritone voice and his acting on Daniel Boone. A great talent.

I was living in Nashville, TN in 1968-69. They shot the Johnny Cash show in the old Ryman Auditorium and I would go in and sit in the balcony to watch the taping. Ed Ames was a guest on his show once so I was able to see him in person. I can't remember the songs he sang but he did have a wonderful natural voice.
