Purple Gallinules that were captured this week. These are their breeding plumages and taken with a 46 megapixel camera. Very little post processing, that you should be able to tell from their surrounding habitat. The overhead flying views were taken by Sally standing on the raised tool box on the back of our Silverado. You really should download....enjoy!

The only reason I mentioned the 46 megapixel camera /breeding plumage and processing was The last Gallinule some viewers thought that it was oversaturated.

I've seen that you have posted Gallinule topics so I think you can appreciate how fast they travel across the water/pads. 3 days of trying to capture them in flight.
Shutter started at 1/2500 and ended up at 4000 and if the light don't shine neither duz they!!!
