The last few days I have been sitting in my popup blind 1-2 hours a day watching the birds at the feeders and baths. Taking pictures from time to time, but mostly watching.
I scrubbed and sanitized the hummingbird feeders, made fresh nectar and moved two of them around to slightly different locations. One right in front of the blind and only about 6-7 feet from the face of the blind. I stay far enough back the lens does not extend out of the blind. Today only a few minutes after I entered the blind this little one appeared at the near feeder. It came back several times over the next 1 1/2 hours. This was that first short visit and I brought up the camera and had time for one shot before the bird took off. One of the main reasons I love the 7DII is that blazing fast AF with a dedicated second processor.
