Use a pair of anaglyph glasses to view in 3D.

Two adjacent photos used to make 3D pictures.

Thanks, Dave. I would like to have taken the second photo in a vertical format but then I remembered uploads to UHH usually do not allow Downloads to be added to them.

Two excellent examples that show why starting with two images is better than trying to convert 2D to 3D. Both images are replete with overlapping elements.

As you can see in this example, I had no problem getting the Download to work with a vertical format. The only time that it might not work is if the images is not big enough.

You may be referring to, "Maximum dimensions for images are 600x800." That "rule" makes no sense since, if it were followed, there would be no need for the [](store original) checkbox.

It is common practice to upload any image size that actually passes the test, "Maximum combined attachment file size is 20MB. That's the total limit for all images attached to a single post." But even that rule is not enforced. You can apparently upload multiple images in a single post so long as each is below the 20MB limit.

Another rule says. "Original files are generally removed after six months to conserve disk space on the server. So if you enable "store original," then the downsized image will be kept on the forum indefinitely while the stored original file will be removed at some point in the future." And that one is apparently not applied since images from many years back remain on the server at their original size.

Rules that are not enforced cease to be rules.

Please do not high jack or use my posts to expand your ego. Thank you. I have read the rules also and you missed the subtle point I was trying to make.

Your point was not clear - too subtle. Please clarify it.
