From one of the Steampunk shoots - which was meant to be Victorians 'with a smattering of Steampunk' according to the blurb but was in fact the reverse. Not that it bothered anyone, the re-enactor folks were so accommodating - none more than Jed here, I lost count of the character changes he managed to fit in for us all.
Not too much pp again in this one, just my standard Lightroom adjustments and a few Photoshop layers to finish off. Your critique and suggestions are always welcome. Would you have done something differently - and how?

I love the light! How perfect for his pose. Did you add/enhance that part or was someone being extra kind to photographers? I like the fog, though it seems to be comprised of small puffs rather than big billowy stuff. No worries if you're happy. The impact of the whole is great!
...how bizarre that your jpg's are suddenly not being recognized by UHH!

Well it was a photoshoot of course, so they got the light right some of the time! The fog changed to small puffs when I added a texture - would be better sorted properly.
UHH says it’s a non photo image or some such wording. I’m at a loss on that, but thanks for sorting it - and for your comments.
There are some photos that I simply want to look and enjoy and not analyze. Yours is at the top of the list - for me it's delightful in every way. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Your steampunk renditions continue to amaze and entertain me! The work you put into these must be tremendous!

I’m pleased you find it so Wuligal. Many thanks for taking the time to comment.

Thanks Stan, I’m glad you enjoy them. Some take more effort than others - to the point that when doing a relatively simple one like this, it feels a bit lazy! End result is always what counts though, as we all know.
Saucy fellow, what! fine shot and color and value tones. The steam/fog is well done and integrated
here.
The photographer's dream - subjects that are willing to pose appropriately
.
I love your image. The light, the fog, the color palette.........you've made them all come together in a memorable image. Bev

Well, you pays yer money.....and get two advantages; lots of re-enactor models and some that are born naturals at posing. Jed here is definitely in that category.

Thanks Bev, glad you like it.

I have enjoyed these Victorian/Edwardian romps. Very artfully and technically done. Reminds me of Jacob Riis.

I hadn’t heard of Riis previously - but found some interesting stuff on him on Google.
I did another shoot last night with some ‘Victorians’ on the Broadgauge Railway. Hopefully with some better results than the last time when I had focus issues! There is a group calling themselves The Ragged Victorians over here who look very similar to some folk in Riis’ photos. Unfortunately there photoshoots have been a bit too far away for me.
Thanks for your comments and the Riis connection, much appreciated.
