I understand that the talons lock in place when the prey is captured. Can a large fish drag an osprey under if it is too heavy? Curious mimes want to know.

Yes that’s possible I suppose but not seen that. Can say I’ve watched ospreys with a too heavy fish struggle to get airborne to their nest. Bounce, bounce off the water while struggling. Always heading downstream on a river if that’s where they caught it. They’re not stupid.

You can always tell a Regis Original .., many have tried to copy .. some have come close ..very close ...
